Friday 15/-3/19 -I'll Start with the Salad, Please
Friday 29/03/19 #14 -Rain. And More Rain.

Friday 22/03/19 #13 -Spring, a Time of Mixed Emotions

Flowers I'm in Toronto this week, and it is definitely spring-like. The snow and ice only linger in the shadiest corners of yards, the sun is out, and the daytime temperatures are above freezing. And the flowers are starting to pop up.  No shorts sightings yet, though.

This is prompt #13 so far - yay!  I briefly considered a basketball theme - it being March Madness - but decided on songs of spring. Listed below are six I picked - from many. Choose one at random, and use it to get your story going. But, instead of the standard 'Spring is a time of new beginnings and joy', write about an ending for someone or something, a sense of loss. Usual rules,: 1000 words max, due noon-ish Friday, March 29, post a link in the comments.

1 April Come She Will - Simon and Garfunkel
2 Waiting For The Sun - The Doors
3 Daydream - The Lovin' Spoonful
4 It's a Beautiful Morning - The Rascals
5 April In Paris - Louis Armstrong (etc)
6 Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - B. J. Thomas

Reviewing the prompt, I think I missed a major point: Spring. We were to write about an ending and/or a loss, which I did. However, I apologize for not including the timeline of Spring. I got so caught up in the idea of the song I used, that the theme of Spring never clicked. Sorry about that!

Joyce - no problem, still a very good story.
